The Lamborghini shown is the matte Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder. This Lamborghini was not modded in anyway, it came factory fresh right from Italy. The matte finish gives it a really good twist to it.

Shown is my edition of the LP 570-4 Spyder Performante. As you can see, red dominates the detail. Of course, this is not just it. The tailgate features a blend of gray and black, which I thought would look nice.

Lamborghini Releases 2012 Lineup Price (9.24.11)

24 09 2011

Gallardo LP 570-4 Spyder Performante

Lamborghini recently released the prices for the brand new 2012 line up.

Starting off in 2012 is the brand new Lamborghini Gallardo Valentino Balboni, which offers a 5.2-liter V-10 throwing its 550 horsepower to the rear wheels. Pricing starts at $193,895, with the the $2,995 destination charge and a $3,000 gas-guzzler tax (insert pun here) for the six-speed manual. As for the optional E-Gear paddle-shifted transmission, the price jumps to $202,995, quite a change.

Next up is the Lamborghini Gallardo Tricolore, a limited edition of the rear-drive Gallardo with no available manual transmission (more information on the Lamborghini here). Pricing begins at $196,995, with the $2,995 destination charge and the $2,100 gas guzzler tax. Both the Valentino Balboni and Bicolore Edition Gallardo’s are special order only, hence I said limited edition.

The all-wheel-drive Lamborghini is the classic Gallardo LP-560 Coupe, which has the 5.2-liter V-10 engine’s output to a good 560 horsepower. The the six-speed manual, and this version will cost you $207,995, including destination charge and gas guzzler tax. If you want the E-Gear option, the price starts at $217,095, a $10,000 jump.

If you want your Gallardo topless, the LP 560-, which uses the same drivetrain as the LP 560-4 Coupe, starts from $231,395 with the six-speed manual transmission. As for the E-Gear transmission, and the price rises to $240,495, inclusive of destination and gas guzzler tax.

If a less interesting Gallardo is more to your liking, the 570 horsepower Gallardo LP570 Superleggera starts at a nifty $243,595 with the manual transmission, destination charge and gas guzzler tax. As for the E-Gear paddle-shifted version will cost you $242,695, inclusive, which is $900 less than the manual gearbox.

The Gallardo LP 570-4 Spyder Performante is a topless version of the Gallardo Superleggera, and it’s priced from $254,695 for the manual transmission, or $253,095 for the E-Gear transmission.

Finally, we can’t forget the only one version of the 700 horsepower, all-wheel-drive, seven-speed E-Gear equipped Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4. The price although, including destination charge and gas guzzler tax, is $393,695, not such a bad price for the car.

Say hello to the brand new Lamborghini Gallardo LP 570-4 Spyder Performante – the successor of the previous model, the Superlegerra.

The Lamborghini features a new front fascia, side skirts, a fully-covered underbody, a brand new rear diffuser and 19-inch lightweight wheels with Pirelli P Zero Corsa tires.

In the Lamborghini, the Performante has Alcantara sport seats, no surprise their and carbon fiber trim.

Power is provided by a 5.2-liter V10 engine that produces 562 hp and 398 lb-ft of torque. The roadster rockets from 0-62 mp/h in 3.9 seconds and tops out at 201 mph – pure driving bliss.

Lamborghini Picture of the Day (2/10/09)

11 02 2010

Today’s pic…

Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder. This is a 2008 yellow Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder LP560. As some might know (most dont know), LP stands for Longitudinale Prosperiore, the Italian way of saying where the engine is located. As you know, this doesn’t really have to do with anything I just said bout this car…  Some of you might know the Spyder was first introduced at the Frankfurt Auto Show (where almost all models and concepts end up) and it was first just the Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder; until the LP560 Gallardo Coupe came out and they went into making the Spyder a LP560.

Comment what you think. Stay tuned for more Lamborghini news, pics, and news.
